About

Building Construction Authority (BCA) has been pushing the use of Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) as a key enabler to transform the way Singapore build under the Construction Industry Transformation Map (ITM). IDD build on the use of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC), which have been implemented in many projects over the past few years.

The Shared Services Provider (SSP) Programme, initiated by BCA IDD Digital Manpower Group and administered by STAS, addresses manpower challenges in the Built Environment sector by offering flexible and scalable digital services through registered providers. The programme supports firms lacking in-house digital capabilities, enabling them to embark on digitalization efforts efficiently.

IDD covers the following four areas:

Digital Design
Digital Fabrication
Digital Construction
Digital Asset Delivery and Management

To further support the Industry Transformation Map (ITM) for Built Environment firms over the next few years, both BCA and STAS recognise that Shared Services offering “Building Information Modelling and/or Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD) as a service” to firms are essential.

Programme categories:

IDD Professional Services:

Services Offered: BIM/VDC/IDD consultancy, project coordination, and implementation.
Capability Building: Provides training to help firms build internal digital competencies.
Quality Assurance: Includes a comprehensive quality assurance plan, service recovery procedures, and business continuity planning.

Digital Manpower Supply:

Staffing Solutions: Supplies trained digital professionals to firms facing fluctuating manpower demands.
Expertise: Staff are formally trained in relevant IDD and BIM technologies to ensure quality deliverables.

Registration Requirements for interested Shared Services Providers

Local office setup
Completion of a Quality Assurance Plan.
Staff are Corenet X trained
Onboarding Programme (trainings) available

- STAS does not endorse nor guarantee the quality of the registered SSPs works.
- The engagement of these SSPs is a private contract between you and the Shared Services, and STAS is not privy to contractual arrangement.
